Decide the Topic
I think if we wanna more get fluent in English, we should discuss about some topics.
Topics make our conversation more neat and compile.

Learning Together
I am very glad when @armanbugis iniated this forum, and I belive that this forum will add our knowledge and skill in using English. But, for sure the benefit of this forum can not be achieved if we do it without full effort. If we just come in the forum once for awhile, wrote short sentence and never come back, positively this forum will be useless.
So lets make commitment that we will use this forum as a media to learn, to correct and to give necessary advices to our peer to make their English improved toward better structure and vocabulary.
@ armanbugis who has initiated this forum has responsibility to keep any replay to be commented, corrected and rewrote in the correct sentence(s), unless we want the forum just " a forum"
So, you are the Moderator.
To @ helda. please do not offeded with my suggestion below.
Actually, you have wrote down your idea clearly and understood easily.
Please put on mind, our habit is generated by our repeated action, if you always write down the sentences as your style right now, it will be your habit in the future and then, finally you are never able to write down correctly. Make sure you write down the word completely, such as You not u, I with capital word, etc.
Thank you.

Some comments
Hi,@ nurul.
It is good that you have been in conversation class since January 2008, I believe you have made a lot of progress than before. However, conversation ia just one part of the English, writing is another part that you should be a master on it. Especially when you have a planning to work outside Indonesia, Obviously, it is very clear whenever you write a word or a sentence it will represent your mind, and people who reads it will also interpret base on their mind (knowledge). Educated person some time judges other people on how their written
There is a rule that should be followed in official writing, for young and unofficial association, what you have written is acceptable, but not in official writing, such as reporting, making proposal and others that needs good and correct spelling of the words. Some words that you wrote are not available in Dictionary, or if it is available, it is having different meaning.
Okay, before I finish my words, I would like to make corrections in your sentence:
1.very very is better used word " extremely" , meaning "to a high degree or extent; favorably or with much respect"
2.i can`t hear poorly if the native speaker said. should written I can't hear clearly if the native speaker said or Poorly, I can't understand the native speaker or I listen poorly to the native speaker.
My advice : Listen to the news CNNI, ANBC, BBC or VOA, don't see the picture, close your eyes and get the meaning in a whole perspective. It is like when you think a car, I believe you think it in a whole perspective, not just the tires, driving wheel, canopy, wind shield and other parts.
So, try hard and always have a nice day.
Thanks.
U done the good things
U done the good things probably much better than U done well.
Well done : this expression being used to praise somebody who already did something.
Usually we don't have to use You before well done. Just well done...
Fore example:
Mom ask her son: have you finished your homework
her son said: yes mum
mom said: well done.... (dlm bahasa indonesianya bagus gitu)

Do all Indonesian students speak english?
Hello all,
Actually, I was looking for a route to Bogor by train, but I found this forum and think wanna give a bit of comment based on my experience. I have a friend visiting from Canada, this is the first time for him visiting Indonesia especially Jakarta City and can not speak Bahasa. He is excited about this visiting. He said he went to national monument (MONAS) and met a lot of university students was going on demostration (strike), he was excited to see them and think "Oh they must be speak english". Nate is lecturer assisstant for University of British Columbia (Canada) majoring Indonesian Politics. Then, my friend (Nate) asked them about the demonstration, the goals of it, He was surprised with their replied. Guess what? they couldn't answer it in english, just smiled and asked Nate for some pictures with them. I feel a bit ashamed when Nate told me about it.
For anyone who wants to practise their english, don't hasitate to find western in many places of interest and try to have a chitchat and don't be afraid of making mistakes, english is not our main language, just try and we can learn from our mistakes..... good luck........
Cheers, Yuli
